why does she say she loves me but dont want me

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
i was involve in 3 year same sex live togather relationship we even talked and have tried to have a baby togather. we also both have a child from a past relationship. we had are fights but we always made up a few days later. about 5 months ago she says that she wants to see other people but only after she came back in contacted with an old friend from highschool. then she ends up leaviong me for this person because she says that they are alot alike. mw ex says that she still loves me and that she dont love her. it has been about 5 months now and i just dont understand why she would leave the love we had. her new partner says that she loves my ex. for the past few months now i have been lost with out her i love her so much and she says that she loves me but cant be with me. she even now says that she did want marrage with me but didnt say nothing. i wanted the same also but didnt say anything.

Seems that you and your ex should be having closer talks with each other.

Try to be honest with each other and determine where you both stand. Talk about how this is affecting the children and try to figure out what would be best for the children.

Frankly, given the amount of separation and the fact that she has another relationship going, the odds are not that great for you. Perhaps you should see a professional counselor.
