i want him back...but is it over??

my ex and i had a fast paced relationship. we've broken up 4 times. all of the times because i wasnt happy ( which now i know stemmed deeper than the relationship ) we always got back together, by me pleding i am going to change, and he always believed me. After this last breakup, it was the same things, i blew up in his face. After realizing that i need help changing my ways, i am now going to see a counselor. But he says hes not going to be there for me in the end, and although i might change its done. I think hes hiding how he really feels. I think he just thinks because hes gave it so many chances, that this time will be the same way. But it cant be, because im really learnging to deal with my pain, and going to see someone. I love this person very deeply and we were so close, and connected in so many ways. But is it truly over?
