So many jealousy issues

Visitor's Question from a unknown year old Female
Hi,

I've been dating someone for a year now, I feel like I'm totally psychotic. He's very flirtatous, and have had a few sex partners before me (but never a gf)...and lets just say they are all more attractive than me. I know his feelings for me are true, but I can't help but get jealous of his present and his past. Everytime I see a pretty girl, I can't help but think that he wants them because before we dated, he always talked about how hot other women were. But amongst the general jealousy...there are two people I"m especially jealous of:

-This girl he grew up with...he calls her his cousin but they're not really related by blood. She's gorgeous, and he always talked about how hot she is. He says he doenst like her because he's her "cousin" but I don't believe him.
-My best friend. She's very pretty, and an attention whore. She always tries to get attention from people, including him! And he gives it to her. They're all touchy when they drink, and he even called her name out in his sleep. He told me he does not like her whatsoever, and that the he's just touchy with everyone. I guess it's true, but that doesn't explain the name calling in his sleep.

I know his feelings for me are true, and he tells me how wonderful I am all the time. He's stopped his flirtatous past, and doesnt talk about other women anymore. But I can't get past my insecurities and jealousy issues. I know he wont ever cheat on me, but I can't help but get so jealous! Please tell me what to do!

Thank you, sorry it was so long!

RomanceClass.com Advice
Sounds like you should trust your b/f and that mostly you do.

So the problem is how to get over the jealousy. Best way is to fight against it like an enemy. Every time a jealous thought comes into your mind tell it to go away and that your b/f likes you not other women. Do this 100 times and the jeaalous thoughts will give up trying to bother you and go away.

Good luck! George
