Guy in love with Best (girl) Friend

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
I am a 26 yr old guy and my best friend is a 25 yr old girl. We talk on the phone atleast 2-3 times a week plus the weekend calls and we talk for atleast an hour at a time. I hate talking on the phone but when i am on the phone with her i just don't mind. Out of most of our friends we are the single ones. I really enjoy being around her and when i am not i am always thinking about her. I talked to a few of our mutual friends and they were all shocked that i liked her and told me not to tell her because of the friendship we have. Which is why i haven't told her yet. But all i can think of is eventually she we find someone (she is very attractive) and i won't be able to stand her with someone else, and i think i will regret not saying anything to her about my feelings. Even though my friends tell me not to tell her i can't help but think whether i should tell her anyway. I am the kind of guy that would rather see someone that i know alot about, however by that time i am there friend or her case her best friend. I hear alot of people say i am married to my best friend..etc. I think that is the way it is supposed to be. I don't know what to do about telling her. From what i can tell she doesn't like me like i like her, but on the other hand she has no idea i like her either. I just need some advice on either whether or not to tell her. And also if i am going to tell her what is the best way to go about it, in person, on the phone, letter, and how should i go about it. Anything you can tell me be greatly appreciated.

thanks again
frind in love

RomanceClass.com Advice
Let her know how you feel in person.

Tell her you are "developing feelings" for her but you don't want to break up a great friendship by trying to move to the next level. Based on what your friends say, she will probably tell you she likes you as a friend.

But you never know until you ask.

Good luck! George
