She has a bf, but she admitted she likes me

Okay, so its a very awkward situation I'm in right now. My best friend told me she likes me, and she said it in a way that I know its a secret, but she has a boyfriend right now. I want to at least keep our friendship, but getting closer to her would be nice as well. How can I go about this without upsetting anyone? The boyfriend is an old buddy of mine, so I don't want to hurt him either. Oh, and he goes to a different school than us, if that helps your advice at all.

There's no way to come out of this without hurting someone.

You can't take away your buddy's girl without hurting him.

You could probably tell the girl that you just want to be friends and she wouldn't be hurt too much.

So that's the best thing to do. If your buddy and this girl break up down the road then you can ask him if it's ok with him for you to date her. Then everyone would be happy.
