How do I live with myself knowing what Ive done?

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
I cheated on my fiance of 2 years with his brother. I know what I did was wrong, I told my now husband and were working through this whole nightmare. He seems to be doing really well coping with things ya know. I just feel so ashamed and mad at myself. I need some advice on how to forgive myself for what Ive done. I have found out that there were very valuable lessons to be learned in this situation.Do you think he will ever speak to his brother again, and am I ever going to be able to forgive myself. Someone tell me that Im not the only one that has made this mistake. Please I really need some advice.

Others have done what you did. It isn't unusual for a bf or gf to develop feelings for the brother or sister of a loved one. It's because they are so similar that our minds transfer feelings from one to the other.

It's good that your husband is working this out with you.

Good luck! George
