This girl

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Male
Hello. I have this issue that is bothering me. So I'm a freshman in highschool but a lot of people tell me I look like a sophomore AT LEAST. There is this girl who is a senior but she doesn't look a lot like a senior like she's rather short and i don't know much about her. I've only said like 5 words to her once, i commented on this costume she was wearing the day before. Other than that I've never talked to her. However when her and I are walking in the halls we constantly make eye contact and that's what makes it weird. So i'm gonna approach her but I don't know what i should say to like break the ice i guess. she's friends with one of my friend's but my friend said that she didn't want to introduce me to her, i'm not sure why. What do you think i should say or how should I approach her?

First thing to do is to become friends with her.

You can start this off by always greeting her in the hallway. Look her right in the eyes, say in a clear voice Hi plus her name and give her a big smile.

After a week of doing this she will know you are interested in her and won't be surprised when you ask her if she wants to hang out.

This should work out well.
