I want to get closer

I have had a huge crush on this one guy for the past 6 years and this year esp. in the past two or three weeks we have talked alot more. Its not really talking though because he is always around his friends when i see him. I dont know what to say to him in the hallways or something and im really shy and nervous around him. Hes the only personi get so nervous around. I just dont know how to talk to him with his friends around without being too out there

Sounds like you are doing well recently.

It is always harder to talk in a group. Try making a stronger contact with him away from the group. Whenever you see him, look him right in the eyes, and say hi plus his name, then give him a big smile.

After doing this for two weeks more or less try to make a conversation with him. You can start off with a simple "how are you doing?" and then grow from there. He may be shy too, in private, so be ready to carry your end of the conversation.
