I love her, but she broke it off
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male After 9.5 months my girlfriend(shes 21 and im 22) broke it off becuase "she couldn't be the gf I wanted her to be" She says she still cares about me and has feelings for me, and when she told me it is best for her right now know we Both cried. I know she still keeps in contact with my family..(hell they even take fitness classes together) I want her back and since the break up I have been good giving her her space and what not....what should i do next? Is there any hope?
RomanceClass.com Advice Of course there is still hope!
An old Latin saying "Dum spiro, spero" means "While I breath, there is hope."
You didn't mention how often you have contact with her. To give her space, try to contact her just once a week to ask how she is doing and to let her know you still care. Be cheerful and keep the contact to 15 min.
Ask her if you could take her out to dinner as a friend. Do that every so often if she is willing. The nearer you are the harder she will have resisting you. Give her holiday and anniversary presents (birthdays etc.)
She should enjoy all this attention as long as you don't overdo it.
Good luck! George
