Loose friend or crush?

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
I will keep this as short as I can without leaving out too much. I've liked this guy named Clay* and my best friend Bubby* has been checking him out, because I guess being my best friend he does that. Bubby gave me the okay and me and Clay started spending a lot of time together. Bubby saw us kiss in a hallway and began to refuse to even look at me or even talk to me. After some talking between serveral others, Bubby will just talk to me as an aquaintence unless I stay away from Clay completely. I have to choose between my best friend or my crush. Is there any way I can talk Bubby into staying my friend without losing his true friendship? Or should I just try talking to Clay and staying away from him?

RomanceClass.com Advice
Ask Bubby if he is going to act like this with all your boyfriends.

If he says no, ask him whats the matter with Clay. If he has a good reason and he promises not to treat all your boyfriends like that then drop Clay because you can get another boyfriend but good friends are hard to find.

But if it seems like Bubby is not really sure what the trouble is then tell him that if he can give you a good reason you will drop Clay but otherwise you will have to stay with Clay. You can't have your life controlled by Bubby.

Good luck! George
