does my boss like me

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
A few months ago I started noticing a few confusing things going on between my boss and me. We have become more then co workers, more like close friends. He tells me things about his personal life outside of work. He constantly stares at me like I'm a piece of candy. On a few occassions he has sitten right next to me on breaks at work, of course when no one was around. He goes out of his way to say hi. He has jokingly hit me on my shoulder and asked me to feel how cold his hand was. And when I did he didn't want to let go. I honestly don't think this is a bad thing because I do like him. At this point I'm trying to get promoted so I may not be there too much longer. I don't know if he actually does like me or if I think he does because I like him.

Wait until you get promoted and then ask him out. He likes you.

It's better to wait because office dating may reduce your chances of promotion.
