What to talk when 2 people are quiet
Visitor's Question from a 31-40 year old Male
I recently met a woman. we are both very quiet peaple. what do I talk about. She dosn't want to talk about family or work. When I do come up with something to talk about she will only give one or 2 sentences. There are long periods of dead silance. please help me keep the convertation going all night. What do I do. I find myself talking about my exwife. I feel realy bad. please help me

She sounds like a hard nut to crack.
I would think twice about socializing with this women. At her age, she should have developed some social graces by now.
Does she have any hobbies, or church affiliations, does she read, watch movies, listen to music, go to concerts, visit museums, do things outdoors, enjoy sports, have friends, like dancing, gardening, or anything?
If she doesn't, once again my advice would be to leave her as a loser.
If all else fails, ask her why she thinks you two have so much trouble communicating and what might you do to change that.
