How do I correct a lie?

I recently met this girl online in a chat room and we really hit it off. We've been talking on the phone everyday for a week now and I really like her alot. My problem is that when we first met online I was using a false name because I didn't want everyone to know my real name. Anyway, she now believes this to be my name because I was to embarassed to admit that I was using a false name, and the longer we went on talking the harder it became to tell the truth. I really want to tell her the truth and it is eating me up inside. How do I tell her without her getting really upset. I would hate for this to ruin what we have started. Please help.

No way you can do anything but tell her the truth asap.

Describe how embarrassed you are and how difficult it was to tell her that you had been using a false name and it just kept getting worse and worse.

If she has a good heart she will forgive you and if she doesn't have a good heart then who needs her?
