Good together But..
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male Me and my ex-girlfriend of just under a year recently split last month. Theres been communication on both sides about 'waiting to see' what happens. But I pressured more on getting back together and now She's given me "were not at the same place" and her being older gives her more life experience. I was stuck in a dead-end job and she didnt like it. Careers are big to her and mine was just starting while hers was where she wanted it. I treated her very well throughout the relationship and we had lots of fun on numerous trips. I dont see why she couldnt wait a little longer for me to catch up beside her? I still miss her alot and were 'friends' but we dont hang out much, just email. What can I do to take it to another level again?
RomanceClass.com Advice First thing is to remain friends with her.
This is always a good way to keep the connections alive that may lead to a return to your old relationship. Don't dwell on your old relationship since that will turn her off.
Then emphasize your efforts to advance yourself at work. Don't be too heavy handed about it but slip in a few references here and there. Do you need additional education? If so, take a night course which might impress her.
But, keep in mind that she may simply have tired of you and you don't want to be flogging a dead horse. Sad, yet possibly true.
Good luck! George
