My girl friend broke up with me and I want her back...

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
Hi I just got dumped by my girl friend about 2 weeks ago and I'm trying really hard to fix our relationship but I'm not sure if she wants it back (i don't blame her at all). My girl friend and I were going out for 2.5 years and about six months ago I just kissed another girl at a party where I was drinking. My g/f gave me another chance and we were doing really well until just about 2-3 weeks ago I went to the casino and had a hotel room for my buddy's 18th b-day party and I drank again and this time made out with a girl other than my girl friend. I told her 3 days later, the day after valintines day. she wanted me to fix my attitude, bad habits and watch who I hang out with. I promised her that I would change but it has been really hard to do so and she wanted imediate change and i'm trying. And just this past weekend she went to a movie with her friend and her friends b/f also with her sisters ex...(hes just a friend) and I got kinda mad and went to a party with one of her friends but we made sure that oneanother doesn't drink. and not to tell my ex about the party. anyway the next day her friend tells her about the party and calls me after I told my ex I stayed home all night, because i didn't want to get my friend into trouble with her. I know I need to be honest but what i can i do, i feel like i've pushed her last buttons and she says she dont' ever want to be with me and that she hates me. I love her so much and we had plans for the future. I leave this summer for the army and she was going to come with me and attend college down at my base. I ruined everything and I dont know what to do...please give me some advice, i love her so much and i want to be with her again. and i want her to be with me again. How can i do this????

You don't have a very good batting average... or maybe you have too good of a batting average.

You can understand why your ex doesn't trust you anymore. Put yourself in her position and see how you would feel under similar circumstances. How can you expect her to be with you again after what you have done?

At best, you could try to convince her that you have changed your way. But, unfortunately you have already tried that before.

You need to learn to control your behavior before expecting a girl to stay with you.

Good luck! George
