communication

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
Hi,

Latley my bf won't communicate with me and I don't know why. I don't know if he just doesn't know how or doesn't want too. He is someone who does like to keep his opinions/thoughts to himself. We have been off and on again for almost 3 years. Last week he did tell me (after pulling teeth) that he just doesn't think he is ready for marriage or living together within the next year or so. We discussed and desided to work on things without jumping into things. He hasn't been wanting to be sexual with me and this is what brought up that discussion. Well I thought once we talked it would get better, but it hasn't. I am very sad about all of this. He says he is still attracted to me and what not and that he doesn't know why he hasn't been interested. But I want to be able to help and I don't know if I can if he doesn't talk to me. Can you please give me some tips. I LOVE HIM and want things to get strong again. I think he loves me too, at least he says he does. But I know I have been annoying to him latley in trying to get him to open up. Please help.

RomanceClass.com Advice
Do you want to live the rest of your life with someone who is so incommunicative?

A big part of a good relationship is communications between the partners. You should make sure this problem is solved before committing yourself too strongly.

It may be too late for him to be fixed, but it certainly wouldn't hurt for him to see a counselor. My advice is to steer him that direction.

Good luck! George
