Confused

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
I work with a guy who's roughly 8-10 years my senior and I'm 18. We've worked together for about a year, and in a year we've had maybe 5 2 minute conversations. From the conversations I found we had a few things in common. Anyways for a while we never spoke to one another on our own until we had to work real close together, and then we only talked because it would have been awkward if we didn't. He talks to everyone else at work but me. I talk to everyone else at work but him. We avoid each other like the plague. I really like him, and from what I can tell he seems like a good guy. But we don't talk. We'll laugh at something the other says to someone else, but we never talk to each other. It's almost as if we hate each other. I need help because it's bugging me and it's really awkward when we're both at the soda fountain and neither one of us speaks or we're both in the lobby standing a two different ends avoiding each other. He's a grown ass man he's more outgoing than I am whats his deal do you think he doesn't like me as a person.

RomanceClass.com Advice
This strange relationship is probably bothering him too.

Since you are asking for advice, I suggest that you take it upon yourself to break the silence. Next time you see him look him in the eyes, clearly say "Hi" plus his name, and give him a nice smile.

You can be sure he won't ignore you and he will be relieved that you two are talking again. If no conversations begin then you start one.

He probably thinks you hate him.

Good luck, George
