Okay i have been talking to this guy on AIM for about 2 months now and we go to the same school. He is about 2 years older then me. He is 16 and im 15.(i barley turned 15 and he doesnt turn 17 till november.)Okay we alwaz she eachother at school and we sometimes say hi to eachother...but i want to get to know him more in real life..we have only talked twice in real life. it is so obvious we are both are nervous so i need some help on how to make him more comfortable with me and how i can be more comfortable with him.could you tell me how to talk to him more without making it look like im trying to hard...okay thanx...
Sometimes what seems hard really isn't after all.
You want to talk to him in real life but both of you are nervous. To reduce the anxiety, do this: whenever you see him look him in the eyes, say in a clear voice "Hi" plus his name, and give him a big smile. He will start doing the same after a few tries. And then, you both will feel comfortable starting a conversation because you will be used to using your voices to communicate.
Then when you start talking, have a mental list of things to talk about so you aren't floundering around trying to think of something.
Good luck! George
