Is there more than friendship?

I like my old bus driver who drove me to and from school in 2003-2004,he's young he's only about 25 and I'm 19.When the new driver showed up, I had nothing whatsoever against him but I was just mad that my old driver wasn't there anymore.The new driver/guy I like, was awesome he was around like 22 at the time and just an all around cool person, but it took me awhile to notice that cuz of my hatred for the situation. So one day he asked "how come you look so pissed off all the time?" and that broke the ice, we've been close since. I thought he was cute but never really showed too much interest, he even confided in me about a girl he liked and I got them together (they aren't together anymore). The only cute thing that happened around that time was I'd steal his hat every time he teased me and wouldn't give it back until we got to my house or the school.It came to the point where he'd wait to pick the matron up in the afternoon until he dropped me home so we didn't have to deal with her and so he could come in my house and hang out for a little while whether his run was over or not. He never left people in the bus he would come in if no one else was in the bus before he went home or to the next school. So he'd come in hang out with me, sometimes with my mom, have a cigarette and sometimes check his email. He got freaked out cuz he saw my dad in Waldbaum's where he works and freaked out to me thinking my dad hated him or something cuz he didn't say hi, but he didn't recognize him. When the matron WAS on the bus we both know gibberish so we'd speak in gibberish so she didn't know what we were saying and he'd be cute and have to tell me something and since I was up in the front he'd be like "I have to tell you something" then give me a look and go "later though" meaning I don't want to tell you in front of anyone. Usually it was about the matron but it was still cute. I also confided in him about my now ex when I would help him get with the girl he was with at the time. So on I think Valentine's Day or Xmas he got me a card and in it he mentioned the guy I was sorta with at the time but still all around it was a sweet card and a cool thing for him to do, I was shocked. He would always call me "sweetie". We still talk to this day on the computer and he just recently got My Space which is a site for friends to talk and this is a message he left on my comment board:
I love u but dam girl . BSB. It's time to give em up. As long as that happens will we always be cool. Oh yea make sure u tell everyone that u have at least 1 ugly friend. See u on the road.
The BSB thing was a joke he teases me about my favorite group all the time. Does he like me as more than a friend? and how do I find out without directly saying it?

Sure he likes you. The signs are all over the place.
If you don't want to ask him outright then just keep hanging around and eventually he will let you know himself. Or you could ask him out on a date "as friends."
