I've been swimming with her and shared interests but she doesnt like me

Hi
Im 13 years old and theres a girl at school that I really like. She said to me "Hey! Lets go out swimming on Saterday!" "ok!" so we went swimming and had a great time, about 3 weeks later I was talking to her on MSN, we were mucking about as usal and then we came on the subject of love, I asked her "Do you fancy me?" she said "sort of...."
Then I asked the ultimate question "Will you go out with me?" she didn't say anything for a minute and she said no! I don't understand??? why would she say no, she reciently dumped her old boyfriend and I just couldnt understand it, we've known each other for about a year now, It's just wierd, Am I doing somthing wrong???

You seem to have done all the right things.
Maybe she is just not ready to go out with anyone right now.
Stay friends with her and sometime ask her to go someplace as friends... such as the mall, or hang out at home, or whatever.
She should be ok with that since she seems to like you.
