I cheated one my boyfriend

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
I met a guy 1y and 4m ago We had sex i told him I wanted nothing more but to have a sex partner. Well he always took me over his friends to have sex and motels, buildings, and we met in parking lots to talk. He never took me to his house and 1 time went out to dinner with him. I met his friend and me and his friend hooked up bcause the guy I was with had a secret life and took off for weeks at a time. He's a cop. At that time I didn't want to have any relaionship with him or anyone. He knew me and his best friend were messing around never said anything but you do him you owe me a girl I said ok. Anyways after 4m hardly sleeping with his bestfriend he came to me and said stay away from him then we started getting closer. Now it's been 8m or more and we've been close he says I love and so do I. Still to this day I've never been to his house. Day before V-day he broke it off told me that he can't get over the fact that I screwed he's bestfriend and maybe 6 to 8 months we could run into each other and try again. I love the man I understand I hurt him but why did he say we can maybe try again in a few months what does that mean and how can I help him get over the past?

RomanceClass.com Advice
He has to get over the past on his own.

That's why he broke up with you. Maybe he mentioned 6-8 months to make you feel better or maybe that's how long he thinks it will take for him to get over it.

You can help him be assuring him that it won't happen again and the previous time was based on unusual circumstances. Give him hello calls every so often to see how he's doing. You can tell him that you still care for him if you want but don't dig into the relationship at this point.

Good luck! George
