The awkwardness is killing me.

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
Ive liked this girl since 7th grade and recently i sent her a nice valentines gift to let her know, and now we hang out a lot more. she has a boyfriend that lives about 18 hours away on a plane which is ridiculous but they seem pretty serious. thats why i cant ask her out or anything but when we walk together (in high school) its very awkward because we have nothing to talk about together. it kills me because i want to get close to her so we are comfortable with each other because i want to ask her out sometime but its not working out right now. what should i do or how should i get a conversation started? ive tried everything i can think of but its much harder than it would seem to get a conversation going.

RomanceClass.com Advice
You say you and she have nothing to talk about.

Actually there are worlds of things to talk about. The problem is that you two haven't reached the comfort level to communicate. You can talk about your relationship, her, you, your families, your relatives, your friends, school teachers, school activities, school sports, favorite music, videos, computers, vacations, future plans, college... and the list goes on. Here's one game you can play: start with the letter "A" and try to think of all the kids in school whose name starts with "A" then do "B" etc.

Glad to hear you are doing so well otherwise! George
