What should I do?

Visitor's Question from a 51-60 year old Female
My male firend is Jewish and I am Catholic, but we accept each other beliefs and are happy we have meet and have a two year relationship behind us and hopefully many more years to look forward to together. But my problem with him is I am not apart of his Jewish life, he get invitations to different things but I am not included in these invitations, also his adult son does not accept me. I am finding this very upsetting has he is so much apart of me with my family and friends. He know its a problem of me,but keeps saying he will work it out, but nonething happen. The last stand he made with his son has only after three be resolve by him backdown because his son refuse for him to see his children. We had to give in it was upsettig him not seeing them

I suppose it is cynical of me but I think the son is worried about money.

Specifically, his inheritance. If your friend marries you then his son will probably not get anything upon his father's death.

Have your friend ask his son for advice about his will. At that point he can make it clear that the son would not lose everything.

I may be misjudging the son, but this is the first angle I would advise approaching.
