The supreme happiness in life is the conviction that we are loved -- loved for ourselves, or rather, loved in spite of ourselves.-- Victor Hugo

does he want me back:

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
Here I am again. I wrote last week but have not received an answer & thought maybe it didn't go through. More has happened since then any way. A week ago last Fri., another night at the bowling alley. My ex hugged me quite a few times, came up behind me and put his arms around me, touched his forehead to mine, played with my hair, took a picture of us together, etc. When he asked me who I liked, I finally admitted to him that I still like him and that I probably would never over him completely. AFter that, stupid me, I followed it up with "but that doesn't mean anything". Any way, the following Mon at school he did not even say Hi to me and I found out on Wed. that he is thinking about asking this one girl out. She is kind of a friend of mine and she asked him to the dance at our school on FEb. 18 as friends only, but he said he kind of likes her and is "thinking" about asking her out after the dance. When I found this out I was crushed. She told me that she would not go out with him in a million years but I don't know if I believe her or not. She knows it would ruin our friendship and I don't think she likes him like that any way. Any way, this past Fri. we were at the bowling alley again and I was kind of mad at him because I felt like he was trying to play me the week before. My mom and my friends think that even though he is a player, he would not try to do that to me because he cares too much for me. Any way, last week, there were a couple of other guys there that I am friends with and he didn't seem to want them any where near me. When one tried to sit behind me and show me how to play a game, my ex pushed him off and said that he would teach me. When they were trying to teach me to play pool, my ex said that he would teach me. When I told one of them that I loved him (as a friend only) my ex said "no, you don't". When I asked one of them if something was on my bottom because I thought I had sat in something, my ex said "here let me see". My mom and friends think that is because he did not want those other guys near me and they think he is only confused by this other girl or maybe trying to make me jealous but I'm not sure. I told him how I still feel, I don't know what else I can do. So do you still think he wants me back? Sorry this is so long and sorry I keep bothering you. If you received the one from last week, you can ignore this one.

RomanceClass.com Advice
One question per week is ok so don't worry about it.

This guy shows all the signs of liking you but then turns around and snubs you at school. He seems confused by something.

Why not ask him at bowling why he treats you so nice there but sometimes at school he isn't friendly. He should be willing to answer an honest question.

Maybe it will give you some insight into his mind.

Good luck! George
