Is it ok to date a younger guy

I am 19 yrs old female and i like this guy that is 17. is it ok to date a younger guy. I want to ask him out but i dont know if the age difference is a big deal. I have knownhim for a while and me and him have been friends. the other night i txted him and said "I think your cute" and he txted back "i'd do you" what does that mean??? is it just about sex or does he like me cuz me and hin kid around and joke and smile at eachother. should I ask him out or no.

Certainly it is ok for a 19 year old girl to date a 17 year old boy.

My advice would be to ask him out except for one worry... when he replied "I'd do you" that showed a lot of immaturity even if he was joking.

Maybe you should ask him what he meant by that. If he has an ok answer then ask him out.
