The best way to get her back is to do actions that back up your words.
Since she is now your priority, show that by spending time with her instead of other options. You have started doing that and she is probably starting to feel different about you.
Share your feelings with her as much as is possible. This will help her begin to trust you again as a possible boyfriend. You are in a very good position to get her back since you are best friends. Keep working at it.
Good luck! George
